The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine is Dr hab. Paweł Olszewski, MBA, a long-time employee of Lazarski University and the Polish Academy of Sciences, member of the National Council for Health Prevention. To date, he has served as dean, associate dean for educational quality, and as a representative of the dean of the Faculty of Medicine for faculty development. In his career, in addition to his teaching and research work, he is involved in the management of educational and research projects. For the past twelve years, she has worked on the creation and development of the medical faculty at Lazarski University.
Professor of Lazarski University Elżbieta Makomaska-Szaroszyk, MD, PhD ophthalmologist, member of the Warsaw Branch of the Polish Anatomical Society, secretary of the Board of the PTA for two terms, assistant professor in the Department of Normal and Clinical Anatomy at WUM, has been appointed dean for student affairs. She has extensive didactic experience working with students of the First and Second Medical Faculties, the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, and the Faculty of Health Sciences. She was a year supervisor and representative to the Pedagogical Council of Physiotherapy II Faculty of Medicine and Audiophonology I Faculty of Medicine. Research supervisor, reviewer, promoter of undergraduate and graduate theses. Visiting lecturer at the Faculty of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Author of publications in the field of anatomy and ophthalmology.
Dean of Nursing is Izabela Golębiak,PhD director of specialization for nurses in epidemiological nursing, oncological nursing, palliative care of the Center for Postgraduate Education of Nurses and Midwives in Rzeszow. Member of the Polish Society of Family Medicine, Member of the Polish Coalition of Personalized Medicine. Promoter of more than 340 undergraduate and 46 master's theses. Reviewer of scientific articles within the Public Health Reviewer Selection Support System.
Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Development Michael Sutkowski, MD, President of Warsaw Family Physicians. Spokesperson for the College of Family Doctors in Poland. He is the author of press publications popularizing issues from the borderline of medicine and sports. He has cooperated with many renowned national medical institutions. He specializes in family medicine and internal diseases.
Dean's Representative of the Medical Faculty for Student Affairs - Paweł Najechalski, PhD A graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology. Scholarship holder of the French government. Associated with Lazarski University since 2002. In 2010-19 he served as Vice-Dean for Student Affairs at the Faculty of Economics and Management. Since 2021, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for student affairs. He teaches quantitative subjects at the Faculty of Medicine are Informatics and Biostatistics and Biophysics.
Anna Sułek, MD, PhD - is a geneticist and laboratory diagnostician, since 1998 she has worked at the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in the Department of Genetics (before that she worked in the Department of Genetics at the Children's Health Center), since October 2022 she has held the position of Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs at Lazarski University and is also a teaching fellow at the University as the coordinator of the Genetics subject. Coordinator of the IPiN Multidisciplinary Team, which is a member of the European Reference Network for Rare Neurological Diseases. Among other things, he is involved in the molecular diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases caused by dynamic mutations. Her professional interests include rare diseases and the search for molecular biomarkers in various disorders.She participates in statutory and scientific projects funded by the Ministry of Education and Science, European projects EUROSCA and EHDN, and has carried out projects funded by the Norwegian Fund and the Operational Program Innovative Economy. She is the author of numerous publications in international journals and numerous conference abstracts, as well as the author of chapters in medical books.
Olga Aniołek,PhD - Dr. of veterinary sciences, histologist, associate dean for international affairs at the Faculty of Medicine of Lazarski University. Graduate of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine of Lazarski University and the Department of Histology and Embryology of the Faculty of Medicine of Warsaw Medical University. She has completed scientific internships and teaching trips at universities in Europe and around the world. Recipient of a long-term research fellowship at Oklahoma State University, US. Involved in the internationalization process of Lazarski University Medical Faculty. Initially as Faculty Coordinator of the Erasmus+ Program, and later as Vice-Dean for International Affairs.
