The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine is Marta Sobczyńska, MD, PhD - a pediatrician, travel medicine specialist, and manager with many years of experience in the healthcare sector. The Dean combines clinical, scientific, and managerial experience. Among others, she has worked at the Medical University of Gdańsk and the Postgraduate Medical Education Center, and is currently a lecturer at the Medical University of Warsaw and an employee of the Department of Clinical and Experimental Pharmacology. At the same time, she runs a medical practice, working in both the public and private sectors. Dr. Sobczyńska completed an MBA in Healthcare and has been involved for many years in the creation and implementation of standards to improve clinical quality and patient safety. She managed the Medicover Hospital Outpatient Clinic, served as Patient Rights Representative, and was Director of Medical Standards and Clinical Quality at the Scanmed Medical Group.
Dean of Nursing is Izabela Golębiak,PhD director of specialization for nurses in epidemiological nursing, oncological nursing, palliative care of the Center for Postgraduate Education of Nurses and Midwives in Rzeszow. Member of the Polish Society of Family Medicine, Member of the Polish Coalition of Personalized Medicine. Promoter of more than 340 undergraduate and 46 master's theses. Reviewer of scientific articles within the Public Health Reviewer Selection Support System.
Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Development Michael Sutkowski, MD, President of Warsaw Family Physicians. Spokesperson for the College of Family Doctors in Poland. He is the author of press publications popularizing issues from the borderline of medicine and sports. He has cooperated with many renowned national medical institutions. He specializes in family medicine and internal diseases.
Dean's Representative of the Medical Faculty for Student Affairs - Paweł Najechalski, PhD A graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology. Scholarship holder of the French government. Associated with Lazarski University since 2002. In 2010-19 he served as Vice-Dean for Student Affairs at the Faculty of Economics and Management. Since 2021, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for student affairs. He teaches quantitative subjects at the Faculty of Medicine are Informatics and Biostatistics and Biophysics.
Anna Sułek, MD, PhD - is a geneticist and laboratory diagnostician, since 1998 she has worked at the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in the Department of Genetics (before that she worked in the Department of Genetics at the Children's Health Center), since October 2022 she has held the position of Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs at Lazarski University and is also a teaching fellow at the University as the coordinator of the Genetics subject. Coordinator of the IPiN Multidisciplinary Team, which is a member of the European Reference Network for Rare Neurological Diseases. Among other things, he is involved in the molecular diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases caused by dynamic mutations. Her professional interests include rare diseases and the search for molecular biomarkers in various disorders.She participates in statutory and scientific projects funded by the Ministry of Education and Science, European projects EUROSCA and EHDN, and has carried out projects funded by the Norwegian Fund and the Operational Program Innovative Economy. She is the author of numerous publications in international journals and numerous conference abstracts, as well as the author of chapters in medical books.
