2022

  • Lazarski University is awarded the title Trusted Brand in the category "Business Education".

2021

  • Faculty of Economics and Management receives CEEMAN IQA accreditation, confirming the professionalism of educational institutions educating in the field of management in Central and Eastern Europe.

2020

  • Opening of Flight Simulator Center of Lazarski University - Operator Goldwings Flight Academy takes place.

2019

  • By the decision of the Polish Accreditation Commission, the medical faculty taught at the Faculty of Medicine receives a positive assessment.
  • Opening of Medical Simulation Center MedExcellence.

2018

  • The university won two first prizes in the competition for a creative recruitment campaign of a higher education institution Genius Universitatis, organized by Perspektywy Publishing House: I place in the category of press advertising supporting recruitment, and I place in the category of recruitment service.

2017

  • Lazarski University's Faculty of Law and Administration achieves category A in the parametric evaluation of academic units. The Committee appreciates the development of the Faculty especially in terms of the criterion "scientific potential" and "scientific achievements". In addition, doctoral studies at the same Faculty are starting in the 2017/2018 academic year.

2016

  • The Polish Accreditation Commission issues a distinctive grade for the "International Relations" field of study,
  • By a decision of the Minister of Science and Higher Education on March 16, 2016, Lazarski University's Faculty of Medicine is granted permission to conduct uniform master's degree studies with a practical profile in the medical field.

2015

  • Lazarski University is recognized as the best Polish university in the global Multirank ranking, prepared on behalf of the European Commission.
  • Polish Accreditation Commission awards Faculty of Law and Administration a distinguished rating, the highest possible.

2014

  • Russian Law School begins cooperation with St. Petersburg Law Institute, German Law School is launched.

2013

  • Faculty of Law and Administration joins the ranks of the law faculties of the European Law Faculty Association ELFA - European Law Faculty Association and EALA - European Air Law Association.

2012

  • UŁa enters into cooperation with Coventry University, thanks to whichEnglish-language, validated study programs are introduced, graduating with two diplomas: a Polish one - Lazarski University and a British one - Coventry University.

2011

  • The Department of Law and Administration, in cooperation with the International Center for Legal Studies in Salzburg, starts conducting international LL.M.

2010

  • Our University officially receive a name - Lazarski University.

2008

  • Under a partnership with University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, the first English-language master's degree programs are established: the Master of Arts in International Relations and the American MBA.

2007

  • The first issue of IUS NOVUM, the Law Faculty's quarterly journal, is published to this day.

2006

  • The Law Faculty becomes the first among non-public universities to receive the right to confer a doctoral degree.

2005

  • An agreement has been signed with the University of Wales according to which two more English-language undergraduate programs are starting from the next academic year (2006/2007): "Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics" and "Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and European Studies".

2004

  • Other undergraduate majors are established: Management and Marketing, Finance and Banking andInternational Relations.
  • The Center for Postgraduate Education is launched.

2003

  • Under international cooperation with University of Wales, the first English-language degree program is launched: "Master of Science in International Business Economics".
  • A new field of study - "Administration" is added to the undergraduate course offerings.

2002

  • The expansion of the Lazarski University's current headquarters and campus at 43 Swieradowska Street is completed.

2000

  • Ryszard Łazarski, the founder and first rector of the Lazarski University, passes away. Not only did he make an outstanding contribution to Polish education, but he was also a distinguished hero of the Warsaw Uprising. Ryszard Lazarski becomes the patron of the Lazarski University, which from now on functions under the name Wyższa Szkoła Handlu i Prawa im. Ryszarda Łazarskiego.

1997

  • The Minister of National Education grants the authority to conduct master's degree programs in law. A new Department of Law is established.
  • The university changes its name to High School of Commerce and Law.
  • The first classes are held in the new premises at 43 Swieradowska Street.

1996

  • The university receives the first authorization to award the Master's degree in economics.
  • Construction of a modern campus at 43 Swieradowska Street in Warsaw begins.

1994

  • Two new faculties are established: Foreign Trade and Management.
  • A library, Foreign Language Study, computer laboratory and 7 research departments are launched.

1993

  • The Minister of National Education enters Private Higher School of Commerce in the register of non-state schools under number 22.
  • Authorization is granted for education in the field of economics at the undergraduate level.
  • The first headquarter of the university is located at 9 Chlodna Street in Warsaw.

1957 

  • In that year, Ryszard Łazarski (the founder of Lazarski University) became the Director of the "Studium Stenotypii i Biurowości (ang. Study of Shorthand and Office)", a school located in Warsaw's Wola district. Thanks to his efforts and the discipline he introduced, this school achieved a high and stable position in the post-secondary school rankings and became known and valued on the job market. Between 1957 and 2010, the studium educated over 16,000 graduates, and its current name is "Zespół Szkół Stenotypii i Języków Obcych."
