Within the framework of international cooperation, medical students have the opportunity to complete foreign internships in selected scientific and clinical centres.
Recruitment regulations for the Medical exchange programme of the Faculty of Medicine of Lazarski University:
§ 1
Recruitment of students is carried out by the Commission consisting of:
- Dean of the Medical Faculty
- Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for international cooperation
- Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for student affairs
- Plenipotentiary of the Dean of the Medical Faculty for organizational matters.
§ 2
The conditions for participation in the didactic program (internship) are as follows:
- completion of the first year of study;
- minimum average grade obtained from the last year 3.5;
- knowledge of the language of the host institution or fluency in English;
- final year students may participate in the program (internship) with the approval of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine;
- the internship period is from 1 to 4 weeks.

§ 3
- A student applying for an internship trip should:
- submit a paper application to the Dean's Office, an electronic application to the email address: e rasmus. wm@lazarski.pl
- attach to the application the relevant attestations and documents concerning the additional recruitment criteria referred to in § 5, pt. 3.
- The application on the template available on the Medical Faculty website should be submitted by March 1 each year.
§ 4
- A student's qualification is based on the sum of points received for:
- grade point average obtained for the year of study preceding the trip,
- language exam, conducted by the Foreign Language Study. Those who have a foreign language exam at the C1 level or equivalent are exempt from the exam on the basis of a certificate recognized by the Study of Foreign Languages,
- presentation of the internship assumptions before the Dean and Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and International Cooperation,
- documented recruitment criteria referred to in § 5, para. 3.
- (2) On the basis of the submitted documents referred to in § 3, para. 1, the committee shall draw up a list of candidates for participation in the program according to the sum of points obtained.
- (3) In the event of an equal number of points, the order on the list of candidates shall be determined by the average of grades obtained for the period of study.
§ 5
For the calculation of the sum of points referred to in § 4 pt. 1, the following scoring rules apply:

- additional selection criteria:
- active activity in Student Scientific Circles confirmed by the Supervisor of the Scientific Circle (regardless of the number of scientific circles) - 1 point,
- works delivered at international conferences or published in the materials of these conferences - 2 points for each,
- works delivered at national conferences or published in the materials of these conferences - 1 point for each,
- works in scientific journals that do not have an Impact Factor - 1 point for each,
- works published in scientific journals with Impact Factor - 2 points for each,
- awards received during the course of studies - ministerial awards, rector's awards and honors and distinctions of the University - 1 point for each,
- foreign summer internships, foreign professional courses and training - 1 point for each,
- presentation of the objectives of the internship before the dean and vice dean for academic affairs and international cooperation - 0-5 points.
