The new year at SJO begins with a new challenge. "Languages Through Cooking" is a multilingual project by students learning languages other than English. On January 15, 2025, participants will demonstrate that cooking traditional Spanish, German, French, and Ukrainian dishes can be not only an enjoyable culinary experience but also an effective tool for learning a language and a great way to integrate.

The Publishing House of the Lazarski University has published an open-access, peer-reviewed monograph titled " Social and Economic Aspects of Court and Out-of-Court Insolvency Proceedings" edited by dr. hab. Anna Hrycaj, Prof. UŁa and Dr. Bartosz Sierakowski (Faculty of Law and Administration).
The Faculty of Law and Administration, along with the Foreign Language Centre, hosted an investigative judge, dr. Carlo Maarzella from the Office of the Attorney General and Prof. Aldo Schiavella,, a representative from the University of Palermo. The investigative judge Carlo Marzella delivered a lecture titled "Falcone and Borsellino – The Importance of Remembrance," presenting the lasting legacy and achievements of two judges who were assassinated by the Sicilian mafia, Cosa Nostra, in the early 1990s.

The Publishing House of the Lazarski University has published an open-access, peer-reviewed monograph titled "Clauses in an Investment Agreement in a Start-up", edited by dr. hab. Małgorzata Sieradzka, Prof. UŁa (Faculty of Law and Administration).
