- We wanted to refresh the format of our meetings with students. This time, our goal was to encourage them to share their opinions with us, to independently explore the topics, and to get to know peers from parallel groups. We think we fully succeeded. Of course, National Days in their previous form will still be part of our programme, alternating with discussion panels. We’re already inviting you to Spanish Day in the spring semester - the organisers summed up.
And what topics did we discuss? Check them out:
- From the British Invasion to the Post-Punk Revival
- James Bond and others
- Brexit – 5 years On
- The British Monarchy. Tradition in the Face of Change.
- Fun Facts from the Lives of the British
- Tradition and Modernity
- The Political Future of the Monarchy in the 21st Century: Perspectives and Challenges
- The Role of Sport in British Society.
We warmly thank all the moderators who took part in the event! They were:
Filip Wąsik – our student, and the FLC lecturers: Marek Cabaj, Przemysław Cygan, Jacek Korzeniowski, Agnieszka Kuczmarska, Jolanta Łazarska, Tomasz Pracki, and Joanna Widulińska-Leś.
