The situation is very unstable, emotions are taking over, the conflict is already inflamed and both parties are threatening to take the case to the court. But before that happens (the case will probably drag in court before consideration, and then there will probably be appeals against the ruling), the representatives of both conflicting parties have agreed to meet to reach an agreement. Will it be possible to reconcile their interests? Are their positions absolutely contradictory, or can a common ground be found? Welcome to the mediation on May 31st in auditorium 38 at 10:10.
Welcome to the mediation of residents vs. developer!
We will analyze two situations in which the interests of two conflicting parties clash: representatives of local residents (housing cooperative, housing community) and a group representing the interests of the developer. The first is a protest by residents against an unwanted new investment, and the second is dissatisfaction with unorganized formal issues and unfair housing fees for residents of an existing apartment building.
