At the Center for Accessibility Support and Development, specialists work in various areas of accessibility – from architecture, through information and communication, to digital tools and everyday study support. This ensures that you can receive assistance tailored to your individual needs.
Our roles and responsibilities
Accessibility Coordinator – leads the work of the Center, coordinates accessibility initiatives, and ensures the creation of an environment that is welcoming for the entire academic community.
Accessibility Specialist – supports students and staff with special needs, manages the equipment lending point, and answers accessibility-related questions, helping to find the best solutions for different situations.
Architectural Accessibility Coordinator – ensures that campus spaces are comfortable and safe for everyone. Oversees renovation and modernization works at the University and initiates the removal of architectural barriers.
Information and Communication Accessibility Coordinator – ensures that information directed at students is clear, understandable, and available in various formats, and that University events are welcoming for all participants.
Digital Accessibility Coordinator – monitors the accessibility of University websites and applications, checks compliance with WCAG guidelines, and collaborates with the IT team to improve digital accessibility.
Educational Advisor – assists students and lecturers in adapting the learning process to individual needs and advises on selecting appropriate support tools.
Career Advisor – supports students with disabilities in career planning, preparation for the job market, and developing skills useful in professional life.
Teaching Assistant – provides direct support related to studying: helps organize classes and assessments, maintains communication with lecturers, and assists in resolving unusual issues that may arise during studies.
Assistant for Persons with Disabilities – provides practical help in everyday campus life. Can accompany students to classes, assist with note-taking, support interactions with administration and lecturers, and help with assistive technology and access to educational materials.
