Rankings and Awards

  • The Faculty of Law and Administration took first place among non-public universities in the 14th Ranking of Law Faculties, prepared by "Dziennik Gazeta Prawna". This is the twelfth time Lazarski University has been the leader of the ranking. Law faculties were evaluated in four categories: staff, quality and conditions of education, requirements for students and the quality of graduates, as well as the pass rate of graduates for legal applications.
  • In the XIX Ranking of Law Faculties of "Rzeczpospolita" Lazarski University was ranked 3rd among non-public universities. The position in the ranking was determined, among other things, by the pass rate for the application and the academic potential - that is, the staff who impart knowledge to students." - wrote "Rzeczpospolita" in the justification for the classification.
  • The Association of Internet Industry Employers IAB Poland published the Map of Internet Entities 2019/2020. Lazarski University's Center for Postgraduate Education was once again included in this group.
  • The newly opened course of Lazarski University's Faculty of Law and Administration - Aviation Law with Pilotage - received an accreditation certificate "Studies with a Future" in the fifth edition of the National Program for Accreditation of Studies. The certificate confirms that, in the opinion of the Expert Commission, a given course of study is implemented according to a modern and innovative educational program that responds well to the needs of the labor market. It is also a certificate of the highest quality of studies.
  • By the decision of the Accreditation Committee evaluating applications in the 5th edition of the National Program of Accreditation of Studies "Studies with a Future", the Certificate and the Quality Mark "Studies with a Future" 2019/2020 were also awarded to four postgraduate majors submitted by Lazarski University's Center for Postgraduate Education:
    - Master of Business Administration (MBA in Aviation)
    - Cyber-security and computer forensics
    - Law and management in the fashion sector
    - Environmental law with particular emphasis on water law
    The course Cyber-security and computer forensics also received the Extraordinary Certificate "Leader of Education Quality", as it accumulated the highest number of ranking points awarded in the edition.
  • The Marketing and Recruitment Department won third place in the Genius Universitatis competition for creative university campaigns in the "Social Media Campaign" category.
    The award was given for a series of post-comics prepared specifically for Lazarski University's Facebook profile from 2019.
    This is the sixth award of the Marketing and Recruitment Department in the Genius Universitatis competition.

Honorable mentions of our employees

  • In the list of "List of One Hundred Most Influential People in the Polish Health Care System", Małgorzata Galązka-Sobotka, PhD, was ranked second on the list of people who have had the greatest positive impact on the Polish health care system in 2019.
  • Prof. dr. hab. Józef Fiszer, Head of Lazarski University's Department of International Political Relations, was re-elected as Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Political Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences for the 2020-2023 term.

Achievements of our students and graduates

  • Minister of Science and Higher Education scholarships for Lazarski University Medical Faculty students.
    Two Lazarski University medical students were among the 50 people awarded nationwide: Dominika Dunder and Kacper Kranc. The award is given to outstanding students with scientific, sports or artistic achievements.
  • The Lazarski University students won the Pre-Moot Kiev. On February 21-23, 2020, the fifth edition of the Ukrainian Vis Pre-Moot, a competition to prepare for one of the most prestigious events in the world of arbitration - the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. The team was formed in 2017 thanks to the involvement of Pavel Bukiel (now Schoenherr Stangl Lutz) and Ewelina Milan, MSc. This year's team includes Lazarski University students: Katarzyna Skavinska, Jan Philipp Wessendorf, Vladyslav Semerynski, Wojciech Kolakowski and Konrad Biskup. Substantive support for the Team is provided by coaches who have also participated in the Vis-Moot competition in the past: Justyna Kucia (Mostostal Warsaw), Pawel Bukiel and Jan Mącior (Wolf Theiss).
