- Prof. Grzegorz Rydlewski, head of the Department of Administrative Science at the Faculty of Law and Administration, receives professorship.
- Judge Jerzy Stępień, vice dean of Lazarski University, receives The Teresa Trojańska Newsweek Award "For courage in public activity".
- Przemyslaw Szustakiewicz, PhD, lecturer at the Faculty of Law and Administration, is appointed as member of the commission conducting qualification proceedings for members of the National Board of Appeals operating at the President of the Public Procurement Office.
- Dr. Mieczyslaw Blonski, dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration, becomes vice chairman, and Dr. Andrzej Kondratowicz and Mr. Marian Wargacki become members of the Council of the Economic Society.
- Dr. Jacek Oleksiejuk, a lecturer in the Department of International Political Relations, is appointed as a member of the Expert Panel in the Humanities, Social Sciences and the Arts division to evaluate applications for funding research projects submitted in competitions announced by the National Science Center.
- Dr. Anna Konert, associate dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration, represents Poland at the 25th conference of the European Air Law Association (EALA) in Madrid.
- Dr. Spasimir Domaradzki, assistant professor at the Institute for Civic Space and Social Policy, is invited to participate in the second edition of the Presidential Expert Program and work with the President's Office.
- Evelina Milan, MSc, assistant in the Department of Civil Law and Procedure at WPIA, receives the Bronze Cross of Merit for meritorious activity in the development of science, granted by the Minister of Education and Higher Education.
- Matthew Drożdż, MSc, lecturer at the Faculty of Law and Administration, is qualified to join the group of international sports law experts - Center for International Sport Law at Staffordshire University.
Achievements of our students and graduates
- Tomasz Dąbrowski is awarded the Second Degree Prize in the category of postdoctoral and doctoral theses in the Ninth Edition of the Competition organized by the National Cooperative Council for the Best Research Paper in the Field of Cooperatives.
- Szymon Balcerzak, a student at the Faculty of Law and Administration, winned the National Law Games Competition organized by the European Law Students Association ELSA Poland and the law firm Wierzbowski Eversheds. The prize is the opportunity to complete an internship at the law firm Wierzbowski Eversheds.
- Three of our graduates receive awards in the Rising Stars Lawyers - Leaders of Tomorrow 2013 ranking organized by "Dziennik Gazeta Prawna":
- place 1. is occupied by Milena Bogdanowicz, a graduate of the Russian Law School,
- in 18th place is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration -Michał Paprocki,
- in 23rd place is the youngest among the appreciated thirty - Mateusz Dróżdż, our graduate, doctoral student and assistant in the Department of Economic Law of the Faculty of Law. - Two participants of the prestigious International Legal Skills program - Monika Ziobro and Olga Korgunyk get internships at international law firms Dentons and Miller Canfield.
- Karolina Sochacka, a student at the Faculty of Law and Administration, receives a diploma from the Academy of Young Diplomats at the European Academy of Diplomacy.
