Rankings and Awards

  • The Lazarski University Center for Postgraduate Education has been included in the 2018/2019 Internet Entities Map developed by the Association of Internet Industry Employers IAB Poland. The Internet Entities Map 2018/2019 contains 417 brands, grouped into 57 categories in 7 thematic areas. It provides a knowledge base about the Polish Internet market and allows you to quickly find cooperation partners in your chosen digital area.
  • In the fourth edition of the National Accreditation Program of Studies "Studies with Future", the Certificate and Quality Mark "Studies with Future 2019" were awarded to Lazarski University's majors:
    - Personal Data Protection and Information Security Management,
    - Compensation & Benefits. Compensation & Performance Management,
    - Law in the Business of New Technologies.
    The major "Law in the Business of New Technologies" also received the Extraordinary Certificate "Leader in Educational Quality", as it accumulated the highest number of ranking points awarded in the given edition.
  • By the decision of the Polish Accreditation Commission, the medical major conducted at the Lazarski University Medical Faculty received a positive assessment. Only four Polish medical universities have been awarded distinctive grades by the State Accreditation Commission. Lazarski University's Faculty of Medicine was among the top along with medical universities from Lublin, Poznan and Warsaw. As one of the few universities in Poland, we received a distinctive rating in the criterion of student care and support in the process of learning and achieving educational results.
    The Presidium of the Polish Accreditation Commission has assessed that the educational process implemented at Lazarski University's Faculty of Medicine fully enables students of the medical faculty to achieve the educational results established for uniform master's degree programs of general academic profile.
    The document confirming the grade issued is Resolution No. 123/2019 of the Presidium of the Polish Accreditation Committee on March 14, 2019.
  • Lazarski University has won 3rd place among non-public master's universities in the "Perspectives" ranking. Lazarski University has maintained this strong position in the most important list of higher education institutions in Poland since 2017. In the list, the University scored a total of 66.6 points. At the gala, the University was represented by Lazarski University Rector Dr. hab. Maciej Rogalski.
  • Lazarski University ranked 2nd in the eighth edition of the "Rzeczpospolita" Law Faculty Ranking among non-public universities. This is a promotion of one position compared to last year. The ranking was compiled on the basis of data from the Information Processing Center of the National Research Institute.

  • The Lazarski University Faculty of Law and Administration was ranked 1st among non-public universities in the 13th Ranking of Law Faculties, prepared by "Dziennik Gazeta Prawna". Thus, it defended its position as the leader of the ranking for the eleventh time. Our university also took the sixth position in the general classification taking into account all universities - public and non-public.

  • The Marketing and Recruitment Department won first place in the competition for creative recruitment campaign Genius Universitatis - in the VIDEO ONLINE category. Genius Universitatis is the largest competition for creative recruitment of higher education in Poland organized by the magazine "Perspektywy".

Honorable mentions of our employees

  • Honorable mentions were awarded in the competition "Success of the Year 2018 in Health Care - Medical Leaders". Among the honorees were the lecturers of Lazarski University's MBA in Healthcare program. In the category "Manager of the Year 2018 in Health Care - Public Institutions," the winner was Piotr Pobrotyn, director of the University Clinical Hospital in Wroclaw. The title "Manager of the Year 2018 in Health Care - private establishments" went to Paweł Żuk, CEO, and Artur Prusaczyk, vice-president of the board of the Medical and Diagnostic Center in Siedlce.
  • In the list of "STU LIST of the most influential people in the Polish health care system," Małgorzata Gałązka-Sobotka, PhD, was ranked fifth on the list of people who had the greatest positive impact on the Polish health care system in 2018.
  • Dr. Malgorzata Galazka-Sobotka, director of the Center for Postgraduate Education and the Institute of Healthcare Management at Lazarski University, became one of the candidates in the "Women of Medicine 2019" poll.
  • The Lazarski University Faculty of Medicine was co-organizer of the 6th International Congress of Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine, which took place in April in Antalya, Turkey. The congress included conferences: 15TH National Emergency Medicine Congress, 6th Intercontinental Emergency Medicine Congress and 6th International Critical Care Congress. The University was represented by Lukasz Szarpak, PhD, prof. ULa, and Damian Gorczyca, PhD.
    During the congress, representatives of the Medical Faculty presented speeches presenting six scientific studies, one of which - "Do we have alternatives for infant chest compression technique in single rescuer resuscitation? Preliminary Data" - took first place in the competition for the best scientific poster.
  • At the 6th International Congress on Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine in Antalya, Turkey, of which the Lazarski University Medical Faculty was a co-organizer, Dr. Lukasz Szarpak, M.D., was honored by the Turkish Association of Emergency Physicians.
  • Dr. Mieczyslaw Blonski became a member of the advisory team of the Minister of Science and Higher Education. The advisory team for evaluating applications for awards from the Minister of Higher Education and Science was appointed on August 8, 2019 by the Minister of Higher Education and Science. The team's tasks include evaluating applications for awards from the minister responsible for higher education and science for significant achievements in scientific, teaching, implementation or organizational activities, or for lifetime achievement.
  • Dr. Małgorzata Gałązka-Sobotka was appointed to serve as Dean of the Lazarski University's Center for Postgraduate Education. PhD Małgorzata Galązka-Sobotka has previously served as Director of the Lazarski University Center for Postgraduate Education. She has been with Lazarski University since 2003.

  • Two Lazarski University lecturers have become members of the Polish Accreditation Commission for the 2020-2023 term appointed by the Minister of Science and Higher Education - Jarosław Gowin.
    Dr. Martin Dahl - Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management has become a member of PKA's Social Sciences Team I. Prof. Paweł Chmielnicki, Ph.D., from the Faculty of Law and Administration, will serve on PKA as chairman of the Ethics Team. The Polish Accreditation Commission is an independent institution working to ensure and improve the quality of education in the Polish system of higher education.
     

     

Achievements of our students and graduates

  • A team of Lazarski University law students qualified for the final rounds of the 5th National Commercial Arbitration Moot Court. The team consists of students Magdalena Chodkiewicz, Vladyslav Semerynski and Maciej Klich.
     
  • The 10th Edition of the "Lazarski Diamonds" Competition was concluded. Statuettes were awarded to Izabela Felczak- Poturnicka and Mr. Julian Rotter.
