Rankings and Awards

  • Lazarski University won as many as two first prizes in the competition for a creative higher education recruitment campaign organized by the Perspektywy Publishing House: 1st place in the category of press advertising supporting recruitment and 1st place in the category of recruitment service.
  • According to the prestigious Perspektywy ranking, we are ranked 3rd among non-public master's universities. For the past two years we have maintained a strong 3rd position among all non-public master's universities in the country.
  • Lazarski University for the 10th time took 1st place among non-public universities in the 12th Ranking of Law Faculties, prepared by "Dziennik Gazeta Prawna". The University was ranked 6th in the classification taking into account all public and non-public universities. Thus, in the overall ranking Lazarski University overtook as many as 10 public and 13 non-public universities.
  • The Certification Committee evaluating applications in the 3rd edition of the National Contest and Program for Accreditation of University Courses "Studies with Future" awarded the Certificate and Quality Mark "Studies with Future" to three postgraduate courses submitted by Lazarski University's Center for Postgraduate Education. By the decision of the Commission, the Certificate and Quality Mark "Studies with a Future" were awarded to the majors: MBA in Healthcare, Lean Management, Quality excellence. ISO 9001 lead auditor.
  • Student Legal Clinic of Lazarski University was ranked first among legal clinics of public and non-public universities in the third ranking of "Rzeczpospolita".
  • Lazarski University was among those qualified for funding under the project "Best of the best! 3.0.". Elwira Targońska and Aleksandra Detyniecka, students of the Faculty of Law and Administration, along with a team of three, received support in the amount of PLN 21,000 for the project entitled "Participation of Lazarski University students in the 10th International Air Law Moot Court Competition."
  • The Memorial Chamber has been included in the Catalogue of University Museums. Lazarski University is one of the few non-public universities among more than 60 universities whose museum units are listed in the Catalogue of University Museums.

Honors of our employees

  • In the list of the List of One Hundred Most Influential People in the Polish Health Care System, Małgorzata Galązka-Sobotka, PhD, was ranked ninth on the list of people who have had the greatest positive impact on the Polish health care system.
  • In February, Prof. Eligiusz Krześniak became a new arbitrator of CAS - the international Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne.
  • Michael Kuź, PhD, became a member of the Council of Young Scientists. The Council of Young Scientists is an advisory body to the Minister of Science and Higher Education.
  • Evelina Milan, MSc, a lecturer at Lazarski University's Faculty of Law and Administration, was a judge of the National Client Consultation Competition in Ukraine.
  • Mgorzata Gałązka-Sobotka was nominated for the title of Woman of Medicine 2018.
  • Ostap Kushnir, PhD, is the second scientist affiliated with Lazarski University to publish a book in the United States. The work is titled - "Ukraine and Russian neo-imperialism: The divergent break".
  • Malgorzata Galazka-Sobotka, PhD, was awarded the Portrait of Polish Medicine during the 14th Health Market Forum.
  • Lukasz Szarpak, PhD, a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, was recognized for his contribution to building the position of the journal "Polish Cardiology" among Polish and foreign clinical periodicals. The lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine was awarded the Polish Cardiology Prize.
  • Lukasz Szarpak, M.D., was also named a finalist for the 2018 Polity Science Awards.
  • Prof. Dr. hab. Przemyslaw Juszczynski, M.D., was awarded the Prize of the Minister of Science and Higher Education for Outstanding Scientific Achievements.
  • Voice Faculty lecturer Krzysztof Beck received an award from the President of the National Bank of Poland for one of the best doctoral theses. The doctoral thesis entitled. "Determinants of the Synchronization of Business Cycles in the European Union Countries" also took third place in the CSO competition for the best doctoral thesis.

Achievements of our students and graduates

  • In March, students of Lazarski University's Faculty of Law and Administration took part for the first time in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. The team operates on behalf of the Legal Clinic and with the support of the Lazarski University Foundation.
  • Edyta Przybyłek, a graduate of Lazarski University, was awarded the Golden Laurel of Skills and Competence in the category of Woman Entrepreneur.
  • Andrzej Zinkiewicz, a graduate of the Lazarski University Faculty of Law and Administration, won third prize in the competition of the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection for the best master's thesis on competition protection.
  • Martyna Kwaśniewska (Lazarski University Legal Clinic) and Renata Androsovyc from the combined Lazarski and Frycz teams became Polish vice-champions in the National Client Consultation Competition.
  • Hubert Hurkacz won the ATP Challenger Tour ranked tournament - Poznań Open 2018, played on tennis courts.
  • Margaryta Khvostova's master's thesis titled. "The contemporary challenges of human rights narrative" was awarded the Third Degree Prize in the Competition of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the best master's thesis in the field of contemporary international relations for 2017.
  • Students of Lazarski University created a comprehensive device that allows to optimize logistics processes "Smart Supply Solutions".
  • A team of five "Lazarski Insight" students, led by Dr. hab. Marcin Lupinski, prof. ULa of the Department of Finance and Banking, took part in the international CFA Institute Research Challenge.
