W dniu 30 sierpnia 2019 r. Sejm uchwalił ustawę o zmianie ustawy Prawo upadłościowe (Dz.U.2019.1802), która przewiduje istotne zmiany w zakresie przygotowanej likwidacji (tzw. pre-pack).
