The monograph constitutes a detailed study of the legal issues concerning the functioning of the Trade Inspection in Poland. The authors undertake the ambitious task of providing a comprehensive presentation of this institution, addressing it from historical, systemic, organizational, and procedural perspectives, while situating the analysis within the current legal framework and the realities of the functioning of public administration.

The monograph constitutes an important scholarly work in the field of the analysis of the Trade Inspection Authority as a structure of public administration. It is a valuable work that fills a gap in Polish academic literature in this area. To date, no synthetic study in the form of a monograph has appeared that contains an up-to-date assessment of the state of research on the subject matter of this work.
