Recenzje:

The monograph addresses important issues within the field of aviation law from the perspective of safety and sustainable development. The timeliness of the issue addressed deserves particular attention. The publication presents not only the fundamental principles governing the functioning of aviation law, but also the challenges related to its adaptation to the rapidly changing technological and political reality. The publication largely focuses on international regulations, such as international conventions and aviation law regulations in force within the European Union, though not exclusively. The monograph also refers to national regulations that implement these international standards. A significant contribution of the publication lies in its analysis and presentation of key practical issues, as well as the main problems that occur, or may arise in the future.

The vast majority of the content concerns the subject of a diversified analysis of Regulation (EC) No 261/2004 and presents various problems accompanying the practice of its application, its impact on the planning of air transport operations, as well as the influence of this normative act on consumers and (interestingly) also on the group of entities professionally engaged in the enforcement of claims. In addition to the above, there also appear analyses related to the phenomenon of the “unruly passenger,” civil law issues concerning the role of the boarding pass, as well as the liability of air carriers for death and personal injury.
