The monograph addresses the issue of income inequality and the role of the state (particularly fiscal policy) in mitigating it. Developing an effective and efficient fiscal policy aimed at proper income redistribution and reducing inequality in this area is an extremely challenging task. It is a long-term process that requires continuous monitoring and numerous adjustments to establish an appropriate distribution mechanism and to consider multiple criteria essential for formulating sound policy in this regard.
