The monograph presents an in-depth and comprehensive analysis of the position of the United States in the context of the formation of a new international order. The author consistently develops the narrative from the period of unipolar hegemony following the Cold War, through the presidencies of George W. Bush and Barack Obama, to forecasts concerning the future of Pax Americana and the emergence of potential new poles in global politics.
