Recenzje:
This book aims at resolving issues in international economics and macroeconomic policies with modern econometric methods. Although related to the various topic, the chapters sum up to an insightful survey of some of the most pressing issues in empirical macroeconomics: from international trade, divergence in the global economy and energy resources, to migration, inequality, and political economy. (…). Regardless of the fact that the authors are young and upcoming researchers, they managed to produce solid, well-documented, and original research.”

The work gains on affordability and is a cognitive value for a diverse audience, including those without academic preparation in the field of economics. Though addressed mostly for economists and econometricians. The work brings added value to the Polish social debate also in the form of a critical, multilateral reflection on the problems studied. In the introduction, various intellectual inspirations of authors and authors have been rightly pointed out, along with a solid grounding of considerations in the literature on the subject. An unquestionable advantage of the work is also the efficient combination of theoretical description of phenomena with the construction of scenarios of socio-economic evolution and the formulation of recommendations for economic policies and for business, employee and consumer strategies. Strong embedding of recommendations in the political, technological and economic context means that despite their daring, they do not lose their realism.
