The publication examines the relationship between public procurement law and administrative law, highlighting their significance for the performance of State tasks and the functioning of contemporary public administration. The authors analyse the interplay between these two branches of law, indicating both their distinct nature and the areas in which their simultaneous application is required.

The study discusses, inter alia, the role of public procurement law as an instrument for the performance of State tasks within the sphere of dominium, administrative law mechanisms influencing the public procurement market, as well as the significance of administrative law in the performance of tasks falling within the sphere of imperium. Particular attention is devoted to the issue of selecting appropriate forms of administrative action and to matters requiring the concurrent use of instruments belonging to both branches of law.

The publication is addressed primarily to representatives of public administration, including local government units, public procurement contractors, judges and court staff, in particular those working in administrative courts.
