Polish Day at Lazarski University
The program covered a wide range of topics. Participants analyzed the reasons behind the dynamic growth of the Polish economy and sought to demonstrate the benefits of cooperation between Poland and Ukraine. Issues such as political and economic transformation and the importance of Polish military missions for the modernization of the armed forces were also discussed. A significant portion of the presentations focused on innovation and modern technologies. For example, the success story of the Polish startup Booksy was presented, the work of Polish graphic designers was discussed, and an application supporting the creation of professional CVs was introduced. Participants also learned about the history of efforts to create a Polish car and about Poland’s contribution to space exploration.
In the section devoted to culture and national heritage, topics included the history of “Moda Polska,” the phenomenon of the “Witcher” series, and Poland’s growing position as a European hub for video games.
There was also no shortage of topics related to tourism and an active lifestyle. Students presented Poland’s tourist attractions, analyzed the prospects for the development of cycling tourism, and gave a virtual tour of the Wieliczka Salt Mine, encouraging visitors to explore it in person.
An important part of the program consisted of presentations devoted to sport, the achievements of Polish athletes, the role of sports sponsorship, and the importance of sport in social life and the everyday lives of Poland’s residents.
The event concluded with presentations about the lives of young people in Poland, covering education and future prospects. And, of course, the event ended with refreshments—Polish snacks and sweets.
