Under the agreement, JPMC becomes a partner of the English-language economics programs: the Bachelor’s program (BA in Economics) and the Master’s program (MA in Economics). This strategic partnership opens up new opportunities for our students to grow and gain unique experiences, and represents an important step toward an even stronger connection between academia and business practice.
As part of the cooperation, JP Morgan Chase experts will conduct specialized courses focused, among other things, on preventing financial crime, due diligence, and current regulations in the financial sector. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in educational events and other initiatives, while the most talented may be offered internship opportunities.
The partnership with JP Morgan Chase is an exceptional opportunity for our students to learn from practitioners at a global institution that has been setting standards in the financial sector for years. Knowledge of financial crime prevention, due diligence principles, and current regulations enables economics students to better understand the risks and mechanisms underlying modern financial markets. These are key competencies in banking, consulting, auditing, and fintech, where security and compliance are of fundamental importance. With these skills, graduates are better prepared to work in a dynamic and highly regulated economic environment,” says Tomasz Napiórkowski, Program Coordinator of the English-language Economics Program at Lazarski University. “We believe that this cooperation will genuinely contribute to developing the competencies of future economists and strengthen our university’s position in the field of economic education that responds to the real needs of the market.”
JP Morgan Chase was represented at the meeting by Dobrawa Gawęcka, Bartosz Michałkowski, and Magdalena Korbut, while Lazarski University was represented by President Marta Rosińska, Dr. Tomasz Napiórkowski, and Magdalena Wysocka.
