On May 7-9, 2026, the ICE Congress Centre will host the 11th edition of the McMaster International Review Conference of Internal Medicine (MIRCIM), a prestigious international educational event for physicians and trainees seeking evidence-based knowledge presented in an accessible way. The only McMaster-led event in Europe, it is a truly unique conference attracting participants from dozens of countries thanks to its world-class programming and expertly coordinated delivery.

MIRCIM 2026 features 11 clinical sessions with over 60 internationally renowned speakers, including pioneers of groundbreaking research and authors of international clinical practice guidelines. Each session is designed to deliver the latest developments across multiple fields, ensuring participants are equipped with up-to-date practical knowledge that can be immediately applied in everyday patient care. The event will also be of particular interest to subspecialists, featuring four in-depth sessions focused on cardiology, rheumatology, nephrology, and diabetology.

Running in parallel with MIRCIM, AIMed: Artificial Intelligence in Medicine 2026 will bring together leading researchers, clinicians, data scientists, healthcare innovators, and policymakers to explore the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in health care. Organized in collaboration with the University of Oxford’s Big Data Institute and the Interdisciplinary Health Data Center of the Jagiellonian University Medical College, the conference aims to bridge the gap between technological innovation and clinical application by turning promising algorithms into practical tools that improve patient care.

AI in Medicine 2026 will span 3 days and feature keynote lectures from recognized experts, interactive sessions showcasing the latest research, and live demonstrations of cutting-edge AI applications from academia, clinics, and industry. Designed to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange, AI in Medicine 2026 offers participants a rare opportunity to engage directly with leaders shaping the future of data-driven medicine.

Another highlight of MIRCIM 2026 is the final stage of the Young Talents in Internal Medicine World Contest, where junior internists from around the globe present clinical case reports in a competition that exemplifies problem-based learning (PBL) and cultivates diagnostic reasoning skills.

Beyond its scientific excellence, MIRCIM offers exceptional opportunities for professional networking, collaboration, and cultural exploration. Thanks to the venue’s prime location in the city center with views of the Wawel Royal Castle, participants can easily explore Kraków’s historic landmarks.

New this year: MIRCIM open call for abstracts
For the first time, MIRCIM is inviting submissions through the open call for abstracts, welcoming original research abstracts, meta-analyses, and case series. All accepted abstracts will be displayed as posters and published in the book of abstracts. This is an outstanding opportunity to share your work with an international audience of peers and experts.
