The Faculty of Economics and Management is launching a series of academic seminars, which will be held regularly, once a month, on the university campus. Their aim is to share best research practices and to foster academic excellence.
Our first speaker will be Aikaterini Karadimitropoulou Ph.D., Associate Professor at the University of Piraeus. Professor Karadimitropoulou's research focuses on international macroeconomics and commodity markets. Her work has been published in leading academic journals, such as the European Economic Review, the Journal of International Money and Finance and the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control.
The seminar will be delivered in English and is entitled: "The Term Structure of Commodity Futures Prices as a Predictor of Economic Activity"
