Our alumnus is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Herio, a platform connecting businesses with people seeking flexible work opportunities. The company works with international brands such as Zara, Sinsay, Spar, Red Bull and Costa Coffee, and its network now includes more than 20,000 workers. In 2026 alone, over USD 1 million has been paid out to workers through Herio. The company is planning further expansion into 33 cities across Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia, including Warsaw.
Levan Asanidze's professional journey spans the technology sector, business consulting and entrepreneurship. After graduating, he worked as a Product Manager at IT 920 in Ukraine, before moving on to a management consulting role at KPMG. He subsequently focused on developing his own business ventures, combining his business knowledge with modern technologies.
Levan Asanidze emphasises that his studies at Lazarski University played an important role in shaping his entrepreneurial mindset. As the first elected non-Polish member of the Student Union, he was actively involved in university life, organising projects, inviting international guests and supporting initiatives proposed by fellow students. It was during his studies that the first ideas which would eventually contribute to the creation of Herio began to take shape.
Lazarski was my first real experience of acting independently. [...] I studied economics, which shaped how I see the world and helped me build Herio as it is today. Part of the idea for Herio was born back then, because I wanted to do short-term jobs as my friends did. Those years prepared me for future success, and that applies not just to the university but to living in Poland as a whole. - recalls Levan Asanidze.
