“Lazarski University Teaching Notebooks” – a new series from Lazarski University Publishing House

Lazarski University Publishing House is launching a new series, “Zeszyty Dydaktyczne Akademii Łazarskiego” (Lazarski University Teaching Notebooks), dedicated to active teaching methods. Its aim is to present a coherent and methodologically sound set of approaches designed to support student learning in higher education.

The first publication in the series is the open-access textbook “Jak angażować studentów? Nowoczesne metody nauczania zarządzania” (How to Engage Students? Modern Methods of Teaching Management), edited by Dr Michał Pienias from the Faculty of Economics and Management at Lazarski University.

The publication focuses on developing analytical, project, communication and decision-making skills – competencies that are particularly important in today’s labour market. The authors present established teaching methods and techniques, including case studies, project-based learning, Oxford-style debates, brainstorming, design thinking and WebQuests, placing them in the context of contemporary business.

A key feature of the publication is its practical case studies, including an analysis of InPost’s business model in the context of building competitive advantage and a discussion of Amazon’s strategies using the Oxford-style debate format.

By combining theory with practice, the publication provides educators with practical tools for use in the classroom while helping students develop the skills needed to navigate a rapidly changing labour market.

The e-book is available free of charge on the Lazarski University Publishing House website, together with information about its open-access availability.
