We hosted 15 language teachers from 8 countries: Belgium, Latvia, Germany, Portugal, Italy, Austria, Slovakia, and Lithuania. They represented universities such as KU Leuven, Paderborn University, Universidade Aberta, Utenos Kolegija, Law College Riga, University of Presov, Università Politecnica delle Marche, and University of Applied Sciences Kufstein.
It was an exciting week for our lecturers too, who conducted workshops and built relationships with the participants. Agnieszka Sycińska, Director of the Foreign Language Center, summarizes: "Organizing Erasmus+ Staff Week 2024 proved to be a unique opportunity to meet and exchange experiences with 15 language teaching professionals from different countries. Our passion for our profession makes us conduct some of the most diverse and fascinating activities, opening ourselves and our students to the diversity of cultures. All participants expressed their willingness to cooperate and carry out joint projects".
Jacek Korzeniowski, an English language instructor, also shares his reflections: " This year’s edition of the Staff Week was a truly inspirational event permeated by the spirit of togetherness and cooperation. The difference I noticed was that compared to the last year the participants were more responsive and involved, which obviosly contributed to the educational quality of my workshop".
In conclusion, regardless of the language we teach, we can exchange experiences and inspire each other. Most methods are universal or can be adapted to individual needs.
We thank everyone who made this week unforgettable. See you next year!
