Recenzje:
The monograph focuses, in general terms, on the principles of administrative transparency. In particular, the study covers three categories of informational rights codified in normative acts of administrative law, namely: the Act of 6 September 2001 on Access to Public Information, the Act of 3 October 2008 on the Provision of Information on the Environment and Its Protection, Public Participation in Environmental Protection, and Environmental Impact Assessments, and the Act of 25 February 2016 on the Reuse of Public Sector Information. The effort undertaken in this study to catalogue and characterize the principles of informational rights based on the aforementioned acts is commendable; it addresses an issue that is both important and highly relevant.

The monograph presents a successful attempt to discuss the principles of so-called informational rights, which have been distinguished within administrative law. The publication constitutes a significant supplement to the existing literature on the subject and addresses the topic in an innovative manner. It draws on current and relevant literature, judicial rulings, as well as national, EU, and international legal regulations. For the purposes of the study, informational rights were defined to include the following: a) the right of access to public information, b) the right to the reuse of public sector information, and c) the right of access to information on the environment and its protection. These rights are anchored in the Constitution and set the standard of transparency throughout the Polish legal system.
