State certificate examinations in Polish as a foreign language

The Center for Teaching Polish Language and Culture at the Foreign Language Centre of Lazarski University organizes  the state certificate exam in Polish as a foreign language at B1 and C1 17-18.10.2026:

  • Written exam - Saturday, October 17,
  • Oral exam - Sunday, October 18.

The next session is scheduled for October 5-6.12.2026 for level B1:

  • Written exam - Saturday, December 5,
  • Oral exam - Sunday, December 6.

Registration

  • Supplementary registration for Octobert 2026 exam: registration is closed
    Registration continues until all spots are filled or until September,15.
  • Possibility to withdraw from the exam with a full refund of the fee until September, 14, 2026.
     
  • Registration for December 2026 exam: 5th October, 10:00 AM
    Registration continues until all spots are filled or until November, 3.
  • Possibility to withdraw from the exam with a full refund of the fee until November, 2, 2026.

Registrants will receive two email notifications:

  1. Confirming that the form has been filled out correctly
  2. Information regarding the status of registration:
    • either confirmation of the award of a place and a request for payment (to the account number provided in the email)
    • or information that you have been accepted to the reserve list.
    • or information that you have not been awarded a place.

NOTE: SJO states that it has no agreements with other institutions regarding the allocation of places for the Polish language certificate exam.

Who can be a candidate?

foreigners or Polish citizens permanently residing abroad who are at least 18 years of age on the date of the exam

Examination price:

  • B1 level (session in October 2026)
    Payment for B1 level exam: equivalent of 150 euros (course of 31.07.2026)
    certificate fee: equivalent of 20 euros (course of 31.03.2026)
  • C1 level (session in October 2026)
    Payment for C1 level exam: equivalent of 170 euros (course of 31.07.2026)
    certificate fee: equivalent of 20 euros (course of 31.07.2026)
     
  • B1 level (session in December 2026)
    Payment for B1 level exam: equivalent of 150 euros (course of 30.09.2026)
    certificate fee: equivalent of 20 euros (course of 30.09.2026)

Payment to the account number provided in the message only from kursy.jezykowe@lazarski.edu.pl.

The only persons authorized by Lazarski University to correspond regarding the exam are:

Please do not pay fees "in advance" or in the absence of information about the allocation of a seat. Refunds will be made within 30 days of sending the request to SJO.

Date for sending fees:

2 days from the date of confirmation of participation. The total payment for the exam and certificate must be made.

  • 17-18 October 2026 r. (Saturday-Sunday): levels B1, C1, C2 in a group adapted to the needs of adults;
  • 5-6 December 2026 r. ((Saturday-Sunday): levels B1 in a group adapted to the needs of adult and B2 in a group adapted to the needs of children and youth up to 18 years old.
  • 6-7 February 2027 r. – levels B1 and B2 in a group adapted to the needs of adults;
  • 10-11 April 2027 r. – levels B1, B2 and C1 in a group adapted to the needs of adults;
  • 12-13 June 2027 r. – levels B1and B2 in a group adapted to the needs of adult and B1 and B2 in a group adapted to the needs of children and youth up to 18 years old;
  • 2-3 October 2027 r. – levels B1 and C2 in a group adapted to the needs of adults;
  • 27-28 November 2027 r. – levels B1 and C1 in a group adapted to the needs of adult and B2 in a group adapted to the needs of children and youth up to 18 years old.
