Programme description and objectives
The contemporary economy is marked by increasing complexity, driven by globalisation, digital technologies, and geopolitical instability. In this environment, advanced economic analysis and strategic decision-making have become essential, as organisations seek professionals who can analyse complex data and base decisions on solid evidence.
The Master's degree in Economics responds to these needs by deepening understanding of economic processes and developing advanced analytical and research competences. Students examine economic issues within an international context, refine their ability to work with data, and strengthen their capacity for independent analysis.
The MA in Economics is designed for individuals who wish to expand their expertise in economic analysis, public policy, and strategic thinking — preparing them for analytical, advisory, and decision-making roles in a global environment.
This programme aims to:
- deepen your understanding of economic principles, market dynamics, and policy-making processes.
- enhance your analytical and critical thinking skills to tackle real-world challenges.
- develop advanced data analysis capabilities to support evidence-based decision-making.
- prepare you for leadership roles in economics, finance, consulting, or public policy.
Going beyond bachelor's-level foundations, you will explore advanced economic theories, real-world case studies, and gain the analytical skills required to succeed in competitive markets.
