Programme description
As digitalization continues to transform almost every aspect of modern life, marketing has evolved from a simple promotional tool into a core element of business strategy. Companies now operate in an environment marked by intense competition, information overload, and rapidly changing consumer behaviors. In such conditions, reaching customers effectively requires not only creativity, but also advanced analytical skills, deep knowledge of digital tools, and the ability to manage brand communication strategically. For this reason, market demand for specialists in marketing management is expected to remain high, as they play a crucial role in building competitive advantage, optimizing marketing activities, and responding effectively to ongoing market changes.
The Marketing Management programme is an innovative and comprehensive course designed to prepare you for a dynamic career in marketing, brand management or/and digital communication. The curriculum ensures professional readiness through a structured approach:
- 1st year – Problem-Based Learning (PBL) – you will complete 2 projects (one per semester) that require the application of knowledge from each course you would go through during each semester,
- 2nd year – knowledge consolidation – you will participate in 2 computer simulation games to practise what you have learned,
- 3rd year – 720 hours of internship – you will be able to take advantage of the Career 360 project, offered by the Faculty of Economics and Management.
As part of our studies, we pay attention to the development of soft skills – there are dedicated workshops and classes in this area.
In addition, elements related to responsible business education are included in the curriculum - mainly content on business ethics, sustainable development, corporate social responsibility/ESG.
You can participate in projects carried out at the faculty (e.g. Compendium of Economics and Management, Caring for Tomorrow: Integrating the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in Higher Education is implemented by the Structural Projects Department and the Faculty of Economics and Management together with the Center for Circular Economics and Applied Ethics.
The project partners are Georgian National University SEU and Reykjavik University.
These projects can be used to help you go through the mandatory internships take part in projects carried out at the faculty.
