Programme description and objectives
In an increasingly complex and interconnected world, the ability to analyse economic phenomena and work with data has become a key professional competence. The OECD Economic Outlook 2025 emphasises the growing demand for economics graduates with strong analytical, quantitative, and internationally relevant skills.
Long-term development is driven by technological progress, demographic change, and global economic integration, increasing the need for specialists who can interpret data, evaluate policies, and support evidence-based decision-making in both the public and private sectors.
This programme provides comprehensive understanding of economic principles, theories, applications, and includes:
- critical thinking development: you will learn to analyse economic issues critically and apply theoretical frameworks to real-world problems,
- quantitative skills enhancement: we will teach you how to prepare data analysis and empirical research,
- career development: you will be well-prepared for roles in public policy, finance, consulting, and further academic pursuits in economics or related disciplines.

In 2025 and 2026, Lazarski University organised internal student competitions with special prizes: trips to New York for the world-renowned Quinnipiac University Global Asset Management Education Forum. This was a chance for 6 students (so far) to:
- represent our university on a global stage,
- network with top finance professionals,
- gain real-world insights and boost their future careers.
And get ready – we will keep repeating this contest!
At Lazarski University, students get the chance to work on real international projects - just like Varvara Viarkovich, who joined a cross-border consulting initiative with Quinnipiac University and helped develop a market-entry strategy for an actual Polish company expanding to the U.S.
"I first learned about the project through Lazarski University, which introduced it as a unique opportunity to collaborate with students from Quinnipiac University. I immediately felt it was a chance not only to gain new experiences but also to master my skills in a real business environment. I prepared my CV and application letter and submitted them to the Quinnipiac University Representatives. When I later found out I had been selected, I was truly thrilled."
