Tomasz acts as a Deputy Director for Aviation Security of LOT Polish Airlines since February 1st, 2015. Previously he has worked as Security Manager for Eurolot Airlines (a commuter airline feeding LOT flights from its hub in Warsaw, Poland), Aviation Security Instructor for Wizz Air (a major low cost carrier in Eastern Europe based in Budapest, Hungary) and Security Agent for Delta Air Lines, Inc. (in its direct operations from Warsaw, Poland to New York JFK airport). Tomasz is a chair of IATA European Aviation Security Focus Group and member of the National Civil Aviation Security and Facilitation Board that plays a supervisory role to the Minister of Infrastructure of the Republic of Poland in all aviation security related matters. Irrespective of aviation security related duties Tomasz has a wide experience in airline safety, operations, ground handling, hazmat transport and cargo services. Since November 2011 he is an IATA Ground Operations Safety Auditor, however he has been also involved in numerous aviation related projects including establishment of LS Airport Services (major ground service provider at Warsaw Chopin airport and three other regional airports in Poland), introduction of Bombardier DHC-8-400 aircraft in domestic and regional operations in Poland and providing assistance in obtaining dangerous goods certification for smaller Polish AOC holders. Tomasz is a graduate of Post Master Studies of Air Law at Lazarski University as well as Business Management Faculty and of a Journalism Faculty of the University of Warsaw. Apart from Polish, which is his mother tongue, he speaks fluent English and can easily communicate in German and in Russian. In private live Tomasz is a keen photographer and aviation journalist.
