Peter Gee at the LSP conference
On the 5th and 6th of July Peter Gee attended an international conference at the Institute of Applied Linguistics of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan.
The topic of the conference was the teaching of Languages for Specific Purposes both at universities and vocational schools. The conference was also the final meeting of the project to create a free online resource for teachers of LSP. One of the main themes of the conference was the ongoing impact that AI is having on teaching and learning, and Peter gave a presentation entitled, “The threats and opportunities AI offers LSP tutors in preparing subject specific materials and assessments.
