In spite of an early hour, the heated debate sparkled up the auditorium. Although in the beginning the discussion centered around medical aspects of possible complications for both mother and child, it quickly moved on into other areas and focused on psychological, political and social aspects such as growing costs for the society.
In the final vote the participants decided that assistance and support of doctors in cases of late pregnancies should not be recommended.
Medical Round Table
On 11 May 2022 the second Round Table Debate took place, gathering students of the Faculty of Medicine. The topic of the debate was a widely discussed question of an early pregnancy and its consequences.
