Economist Wing Thye Woo, a professor at the University of California Davis, specializing in East Asian economies, delivered a lecture at the University Lazarski titled: "The Rise of China: The Implications for U.S. and EU", on the impact of China's economic growth on the economy of Europe and the United States. The meeting was held on 20 November 2010.
US Economy and Transatlantic Relations Institute hosted a public debate, in English, titled: "KONY 2012: Examining the global campaign to catch one of the world's most notorious warlords".
In Spring 2012, the US Economy and Transatlantic Relations Institute organized trips for students of Lazarski University to the US Embassy in Warsaw to participate in a series of Digital Video Conference (or DVC) lectures.

At the end of the second week of intensive Polish language courses at Lazarski University, we went in search of autumn.
The analysis of the Court and Business Gazette (Monitor Sądowy i Gospodarczy) leads to a conclusion that for the last half-year the entities struggling with insolvency have usually been using the so-called simplified restructuring proceedings. Do such proceedings, however, stand any chance to become a fixed part of the restructuring process?
We would like to kindly inform you about the publication of two peer-reviewed scientific monographs by the University Press of Lazarski University: "Project management in the era of digitization and increased risk", edited by Professor Aleksandra Laskowska-Rutkowska (Faculty of Economics and Management) and "Legal restrictions on the re-use of public information" by PhD Łukasz Nosarzewski (Faculty of Law and Administration). Both monographs were published in open access.
On September 30th, we officially started the new academic year at our University.
