Diploma collection

Graduates of postgraduate programmes collect their documents from the CKP Dean's Office — not the Archive (go here).

Graduates can collect their diplomas from the Lazarski University Archive during its opening hours. Please have a valid identity document ready, as it is required to verify your identity when collecting your documents.

Under the applicable regulations, the University has 30 days from the date of the diploma examination to prepare the diploma. Graduates will be notified by email when their diploma is ready for collection from the Archive.

The following rules apply to student ID cards:

  • Graduates of first-cycle programmes may keep their student ID card. The card remains valid until 31 October of the year in which the programme is completed.
  • Graduates of second-cycle programmes and long-cycle Master’s programmes are required to return their student ID card when collecting their diploma, as the card becomes invalid on the date they obtain their Master’s degree.

We recommend collecting your diploma in person.

If you are unable to come to the University in person, you may authorise another person to collect your diploma on your behalf by:

  • completing the “Authorisation to collect documents and/or obtain information” application on the e-Dziekanat platform no later than the date of your diploma examination. The application should include the full name of the authorised person, their ID card (or passport) number, and the exact scope of the authorisation;
  • providing a notarised authorisation for the designated person;
  • your diploma can also be sent to you via Poczta Polska or courier service, subject to separate regulations (find out more).

Rules for applying for an additional copy of a graduation diploma and/or Diploma Supplement in Polish or a foreign language

Graduates may apply to the University for an additional copy of their graduation diploma and/or Diploma Supplement in Polish or a foreign language. The application should be submitted to the relevant Dean's Office.

  • The fee for issuing an additional copy of a graduation diploma in a foreign language is PLN 20.
  • The fee for issuing an additional copy of a Diploma Supplement in a foreign language is PLN 20.
  • If you apply for both documents, the total fee is PLN 40.
  • An additional copy of a graduation diploma and/or Diploma Supplement in Polish is issued free of charge.

An additional copy of a graduation diploma and/or Diploma Supplement is prepared within 30 days of submitting a complete application together with proof of payment, if applicable. Graduates will be notified by email by an Archive staff member when the additional copy is ready for collection. Additional copies of the diploma and/or Diploma Supplement are collected from the University Archive.

Rules for applying for a duplicate diploma/Supplement

If the original graduation diploma or original Diploma Supplement has been lost, a graduate may apply to the University for a duplicate document. An application for a duplicate diploma and/or Diploma Supplement should be submitted to the relevant Dean's Office.

  • The fee for issuing a duplicate graduation diploma is PLN 20.
  • The fee for issuing a duplicate Diploma Supplement is PLN 20.
  • If you apply for both documents, the total fee is PLN 40.

The legal basis for the above-mentioned fees is the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education on higher education.

A duplicate diploma and/or Diploma Supplement is prepared within 30 days of submitting a complete application together with proof of payment. Graduates will be notified by email by an Archive staff member when the duplicate is ready for collection. Duplicate diplomas and/or Diploma Supplements are collected from the University Archive.
