German? Das ist fantastisch!

Want to meet new people from the university in a relaxed, stress-free atmosphere? You’re warmly invited on 16 December 2025 to German Day – an event from the “Small Integration Meetings” series for first-year students. The main theme will be contemporary German culture, and the primary goal is integration and great fun.

It doesn’t matter whether you speak German fluently or only know “ja” and “nein” – what counts is an awesome time and spending it together. There are plenty of reasons to come:

  1. You’ll learn something new and interesting about our western neighbour.
  2. You’ll smash the stereotype that Germans are all about work and rules.
  3. You’ll listen to good music (no Wagner, we promise!).
  4. You’ll take part in a light-hearted “Fact or Myth?” quiz about Germany.
  5. You’ll try traditional German treats.
  6. You’ll taste student-made potato salads (Kartoffelsalat) and vote for the best one in the “Addictive Taste” contest.
  7. You’ll chat freely with your fellow students.
  8. You’ll enjoy a laid-back vibe and relax before your next classes.

Don’t let others tell you how it was – come and experience it yourself!
