Our student presented his original research project at the international DEN Conference in London
During the conference Oskar presented his original research project exploring the impact of education on migration processes. His presentation attracted considerable interest from participants representing different countries and academic backgrounds.
The DEN International Student Conference is an annual event organised by the University of Westminster, bringing together students, academics and partner institutions from around the world. The conference provides a platform for presenting research projects, discussing contemporary social challenges, and exchanging international perspectives and experiences.
The visit was made possible through the partnership between Lazarski University and the University of Westminster, which also includes a double degree programme. This collaboration offers students opportunities to participate in academic exchanges, joint research projects, international events, and to gain experience in different educational systems.
Oskar was supported throughout his preparations for the conference by his mentor and academic supervisor, Dr Jan Grzymski, a lecturer at Lazarski University.
Participating in the DEN Conference gave me the opportunity to exchange ideas with students from different parts of the world, which significantly broadened my perspective. I was pleased to answer questions about the integration of Ukrainian immigrants in Poland. I would like to express my gratitude to the academic staff of Lazarski University for their support throughout this process.- said Oskar Wiśniewski.
