The appointment of Prof. Marinski is a significant strengthening of the NIK in terms of its core mission, which is "we help fix the State". And there is much to fix... Especially after the last eight years, although there were already various objections to public administration. One of the tasks of the new member of the NIK College will be to draw attention to the need to control the functioning of the National Tax Administration, by which our tax system is perceived as one of the most repressive in OECD countries.
