Dr. Justyna Niderla-Bielińska spent two months as part of a scientific exchange at the Department of Vascular Biology and Thrombosis Research Center for Physiology and Pharmacology, where together with Dr. Omar Sharif, head of the CD Laboratory for Immunometabolism and Systems Biology of Obesity Related Diseases (InSpiReD), worked on a new project: "Macrophages and endothelial cells in the heart muscle - impaired angiogenesis in the course of heart failure in the metabolic syndrome."
