On 29 November and 1 December students’ debates concerning the burning issue of immigrants camping at the Polish-Belarussian border were held.

The participants were students of the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Law, and although the topics of the debates approached the problem from two different angles, general conclusions in the end of both debates were relatively the same. The arguments put forward reflected economic, legal and humanitarian concerns, however the prevailing argument referred to the feeling of social injustice towards the people of Belarus who are allowed on the EU territory only after subordinating themselves to a number of complex legal requirements. An overwhelming majority considered it highly unfair and therefore voted against free inflow of immigrants.
