Games around German proverbs
This Thursday we will meet with German proverbs and our lecturer – Lidia Brandmiller-Witowska. How many of these sayings do you already know? Are they similar to Polish ones? We will see you in MS Teams on April 29 at 19:00.
Is it worth learning proverbs in foreign languages? Yes of course! They say a lot about a specific community and how it perceives the world. They also show the level of knowledge of the language of its citizens. Moreover, learning them can be fun and entertaining. And this is what it will be like at our next Cafe SJO meeting. Remember to prepare a cup of coffee and your favorite snacks. :)
