Information Clause of Lazarski University

Pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR, OJ EU L 119 of 2016), Lazarski University informs that:

1. The controller of your personal data is Lazarski University, ul. Świeradowska 43, 02-662 Warsaw.
2. The Controller has appointed a Data Protection Officer, who can be contacted at the following email address: iod@lazarski.edu.pl.
3. Your personal data will be processed by the Controller for the purpose of handling applications and contacting individuals interested in participating in a photo session organized by Lazarski University, on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The Controller’s legitimate interest is organizing events for students and ensuring effective administrative communication and university life.
4. Your personal data may be transferred to public authorities and state offices or other entities authorized under the law. Personal data may also be transferred to entities that provide services related to the Controller’s ICT systems, provide ICT tools, or offer postal, cloud, document destruction, hosting, or organizational services.
5. The Controller will not make automated decisions based on your personal data, including decisions resulting from profiling within the meaning of the GDPR.
6. Your personal data will be processed for the duration of the photo session, and after the session ends, for 6 months for organizational purposes; after this period, the data will be deleted.
7. You have the right to request from the Controller access to your personal data, their rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing.
8. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.
9. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, i.e., the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
10. Providing your personal data is voluntary, but necessary to participate in the photo session. Refusal to provide personal data will make participation in the photo session impossible.
11. Your personal data will not be transferred to a third country or an international organization unless required by the Controller’s legal obligations.
