The spring semester was quite busy, it came and went incredibly fast and now it’s the time for a short recap of the debates that took place during its course. There were three of them altogether and were kept in the online mode except for the medical Round Table Debate which was organized at the University premises (in a strict sanitary regime of course).
We invite you to the last meeting of Cafe SJO this semester. This time we will meet a native Colombian who, after her stay in Poland, will answer the question of what is common and what is different in our perception of the world. We meet on May 27 at 19:00 in MS Teams.
On 28th May at 3:30pm please join us for the online mediation experience. We will be looking into issues of, unfortunately, quite common cases of breaching the labour code by employers and how to protect against this. Also, we will investigate the same issues from the point of view of employers. After all, the job contract is for mutual benefits, isn’t it? Do the interest of employees and employers have to be contradictory? Do they have to clash, or can they work to the satisfaction of both sides? Please join us to find out.
On Thursday, April 15 at 19:00, we invite all people who would like to start learning to play an instrument to Cafe SJO. Mr. Jacek Korzeniowski – an SJO lecturer and a talented keyboardist and guitarist – will talk about his musical experiences and advise on how to take the first step on the musical path.
We invite you to an unusual meeting of Cafe SJO, because this time the topic will be about you and your dreams. :) We will talk about how to find the courage to realize them. The cafe will be run by Victoria Syvachuk on Thursday, March 25 at 19:00.
