Lazarski University in Warsaw, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and the Conference on European Restructuring and Insolvency Law (CERIL) are organizing a seminar for academics, practitioners and members of the judiciary, legislative and executive authorities, on the impact of sanctions against Russia on the health of EU companies.
We cordially invite anyone who may be interested to participate in the online seminar on: "EU sanctions against Russia
and their effects on the bankruptcies of EU-based enterprises".
We cordially invite anyone who may be interested to participate in the 1st Conference of Doctoral Students of social sciences in the field of bankruptcy, restructuring law and insolvency research titled "Bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings from the legal and economic perspective".
The conference is the first, interacademic event organised entirely by doctoral students and dedicated to them.
We invite doctoral students who conduct their research in the field of social and economic sciences concerning issues of bankruptcy, insolvency and restructuring of entities and natural persons who do not conduct economic activity, to participate in the conference. The conference is to enable young scholars to present the results of their research and exchange ideas pertaining to restructuring proceedings, insolvency and bankruptcy, not only from the point of view of law but also with aspects of economic analysis of legal processes, sociology and the axiology of law. Insolvency, which very often entails poverty, constitutes an important social phenomenon and, as such, is crucial in terms of social and economic development processes in a society. We do hope that the conference will motivate doctoral students to instigate and continue multifaceted research of that phenomenon.

On 9 December during our Saturday student debate on socially progressive marketing methods and strategies, we tried to answer the question whether the principle "Go woke, go broke?" has real-world justification.
The main objective of the agreement is to popularize among students the subject of international economic exchange, export and investment support systems, including insurance and guarantee instruments.
Are we witnessing a culture war in business and social relations? Have you heard of the term "Go WOKE, go broke"? During our debate, we will focus on the financial results (bottom-line) and marketing (corporate image) effects of applying the "woke" principle in business. Is it good or bad for business? Does it attract new customers or alienate existing core target groups? Does it enhance or harm the brand value? Should we use it widely or avoid it like the plague?
