European Green Deal: Europe's necessary ecological transformation or arbitrary political and economic decisions?

Welcome to the debate on May 18: we will discuss an issue receiving wide coverage in the media since the beginning of 2024: is the Green Deal good or bad for us? Who are its beneficiaries? Who stands to gain and benefit and who might suffer a loss? Can we even talk about loss? And in what context should the balance be considered: a measurable financial one (for example, for farmers), or an existential threat to our health (a staggering amount of chemicals in food) and well-being as consumers (promoting renewable energy, reducing food waste)?

Why does this plan provoke such strong reactions and seem controversial? Why so many violent protests on Polish roads and in European cities? We will talk about all this during our academic debate on May 18.

Get to know the opinion of your colleagues and express your opinion by voting FOR or AGAINST the application of this package of proposals in the economy and politics. We hope that thanks to this debate you will learn the arguments in the ongoing discussion and form an opinion based on facts, and not only on the emotional reaction presented in various media. See you on May 18!
