Lazarski University receives funding under the NAWA Strategic Partnerships Programme

We are happy to announce that the project "Concern for Tomorrow: Integrating the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in Higher Education", has received funding under the Strategic Partnerships of the National Agency for Academic Exchange.

Lazarski University received funding as part of the partnership

Under the call, only 13 universities received funding for projects. The project will be implemented by the Structural Projects Department together with the International Programs Section and the Faculty of Economics and Management together with the Center for Circular Economics and Applied Ethics of Lazarski University. There are two universities: Georgian National University SEU and Reykjavik University. The Lazarski University application received funding in the amount of PLN 898,563.

Project goal

The aim of the project is to prepare high-quality teaching materials for self-study and teaching about the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. As part of the project, a course will be created with videos, case studies and a textbook, as well as tasks related to sustainable development for education using the problem-based learning method. Events have also been planned: an inaugural and educational meeting in Reykjavik, two international exchanges (to Georgia and Poland) of teaching staff and students to test the original problem-based teaching program in the area of ​​sustainable development, as well as an international conference in Warsaw presenting the project results.
