On May 24, 2024 Erasmus+ Team held “Sustainability Exchange” event at Lazarski University that introduced a student perspective on sustainability goals.

The interactive presentations from Darya Mialeshkina, Iness Bennouiri, Mihai Gutan and Irina Jalon Soloviy taught us how to make changes to everyday habits (how to choose appliances, house plants and alter cleaning chores), how different countries utilize renewable energy and reminded us that no poverty is one of the important Sustainability Development Goals

The contestants came from Morocco, Belarus, Spain, Romania. The students represented the LU’s Faculties of Law and Administration, Economics and Management as well as University of Zaragoza and “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi. Sustainable Development Goals that were tackled the most include number 1 – No Poverty4 – Quality Education7 – Affordable and Clean Energy and 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities.

Special thanks to the organizers, Katarzyna Zielińska and Anna Dmoch from the Erasmus+ Team, as well as mentors, Agnieszka Oleksyn-Wajda, Rector's Proxy for ESG, Radek Wierzbicki and Dominika Dzwonkowska from the Faculty of Economics and Management. The audience was also engaged and knowledgeable, especially Denys Barsukov.
