* Jeffrey M. Epstein is retired from the practice of law. During his years of practice, Mr. Epstein handled matters involving the entire range of banking and commercial finance transactions, including secured and unsecured loans, loan syndications, project financings, leveraged acquisitions, regulatory matters, and workout and debt restructurings.
He was involved with companies in the apparel, entertainment, health, auto, electronic, consumer products, restaurant, security, telecommunications, advertising, publishing, and e-commerce industries in structuring leveraged buyouts. He also represented various government agencies in connection with receivership matters.
Mr. Epstein has lectured on topics of interest to the commercial and financial community, including leveraged buyouts, loan restructurings, and the application of federal regulatory issues to commercial transactions. He served as a law clerk to the Honorable Harry E. Kalodner, Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, from 1965 – 1966. Following his retirement, he has taught topics on American law in various Eastern European countries under the auspices of the Center for International Legal Studies. On a pro bono basis, he has represented NGO's in the areas of theatre, education, and elder rights in both the United States and abroad. He has also continued his activities as a member of the ABA International Division.
