Forms of credit for student internships

Student internships can be credited through:

  • Individual internship (internship from the offer of the university / internship in an institution of one's choice)
  • Credit for professional work
  • Student Legal Clinic of Lazarski University
  • Erasmus+ Program

Required hourly dimension of mandatory internships

We would like to inform you that, in accordance with the Training Program, students of the following majors are subject to mandatory internships:

 

Direction of Law
  • Student of single full-time or part-time master's degree program in the field of Law is obliged to complete an internship of at least 160 clock hours.

Exception is made for students of uniform full-time master's degree programs who began their studies in the 2019/2020 academic year or earlier years and are required to complete professional practice of at least 320 hours clock hours.

The internship should take place no earlier than during the summer vacation preceding the third year of study and should be completed no later than the date of completion of the teaching activities of the fifth year of study.

 

Administration majors
  • Student of part-time first-year studies in Administration shall be required to complete a professional internship of at least 160 hours clock hours no earlier than during the summer vacation preceding the third year of study.

Students of the second degree program are not subject to the obligation to pass the internship.

Credit for internships for the above-mentioned majors is a prerequisite for admission to the diploma exam.

The internship is an integral part of the educational program, so it must be in accordance with the course of study. Details of the internship are contained in the Regulations for the organization of professional practice and Syllabuses.
