Description

WiDaF (Deutsch als Fremdsprache in der Wirtschaft) is an international examination testing the level of proficiency in German in business and in working environment.

WiDaF is used by organisations as a tool to measure the effectiveness of employee trainings, certification and selection as well as a way to measure their learning progress and a language audit tool.

WiDaF makes it possible to review language proficiency at  A2-C2 level.

It comprises 150 test questions divided into 2 sections that assess  vocabulary, reading comprehension and listening comprehension. The exam result is expressed as a score on a scale from 30 to 990.

One great advantage of the exam is that you do not have to declare your level of language proficiency before taking it. The level of proficiency is determined by the exam irrespective of the score achieved.

You can find more information about the structure of the WiDaF exam here.
